FFP participant play a role in Portuguese tv series about sustainability

Consumers take an increasing interest in sustainable products. This is why the Portuguese television channel S.I.C News has made a serial about sustainability. The programme is called “Eco Europa” and it describes all sorts of initiatives in the field of sustainability.

On January 15th last the television crew filmed at the companies who are participating in Fair Flowers Fair Plants. They started shooting at the clock, then the crew filmed the purchased flowers in the buyers’ box Westfleur at the auction. Then they followed the lot at the Dutch florist Bloembinderij van der Maat where the flowers were unpacked and provided with an FFP label. In the afternoon the crew visited the grower of the FFP flowers, Groenewegen Gerbera (Colours of Nature). By filming all links from the chain, they perfectly show the closed chain of FFP products.
