FFP bouquet for Princess Maximá

On Saturday the 26th of September 2009 FFP was present at the Millennium Event in The Hague to present international flower arrangements from sustainably produced flowers. The Millennium Event was organized by the Dutch Ministry of Development, whose Minister Koenders called for this day to remember 60 years of development co-operation and to come to new millennium agreements aiming to fight poverty.
About 2000 guests and visitors were welcomed to the event in the Fokker Terminal, among which were the Dutch Prince Willem Alexander and Princess Maximá. 
FFP experienced a very special moment when her operational manager Regina Dinkla had the opportunity to offer Princess Maximá a bouquet that was made from FFP flowers. Together with Sjef Langeveld (chairman) and Arnold Hordijk from the FFP board Regina Dinkla informed the royal couple and Minister Koenders about the international consumer label Fair Flowers Fair Plants.
Besides the royal couple several Dutch celebrities who are involved with development aid organizations presented their projects, such as Marco Borsato, Daphne Bunskoek, Katja Schuurman and Jan Smit. FFP's presence at the Millennium event will hopefully contribute to the 'grand opening' of the Dutch consumer market for flowers and plants that are produced with respect for people and nature
