FFP with first sustainability label for garden centres at Life & Garden

As from January 2010 FFP flowers and plants will be available in all the Life & Garden garden centres with a new sustainability label. With this label Life & Garden has taken an important next step in stimulating the production and trade of sustainably produced home decoration products, including flowers and plants. The FFP flowers and plants in this sustainability collection will be presented with the new 'Enjoy and Respect Nature' label, as will (garden) furniture with FSC label.

Life & Garden is increasing the sustainability assortment together with suppliers and producers of sustainable products and offers it to the consumer at the same price. Flowers and plants in the sustainability assortment are flowers and plants with the FFP label, the label that guarantees a sustainable production with good labour conditions. A wide range of FFP houseplants from producers of the Decorum Company will be available with the 'Enjoy and Respect Nature' label at the Life & Garden garden centres soon.
