First plants with Fair Flowers Fair Plants label for sale in Sweden
Around Valentine this year the first roses with a Fair Flowers Fair Plants (FFP) label were presented to the consumer at several locations in Sweden. This action increased the demand for Fair Flowers Fair Plants products and also created the interest of the trade. Result is that as from 12th of September the Swedish consumer can also buy flowering plants with the FFP label.
The initiative comes from plant export company ‘Noviflora’ in Honselersdijk (Holland) together with one of their clients. Noviflora was one of the first traders that became member of the Fair Flowers Fair Plants organisation.
Several flowering plants are offered on Danish trolleys and are put ready-made including Fair Flowers Fair Plants Point of Sale material into the shop. As from 12th of September these plants are for sale at about 25 Coop shops in Sweden.
