No VBN product code?
As a producer you will place your products on the website on the basis of the VBN product codes. If, however, no code exists as yet, you can now place your product on the site under the code 'Others' in the specific product group. 

For example:

  • Rose T-hybrid (others)          product code 580      
  • Rose Sweetheart (others)    product code 679
  • Rose Spray (others)              product code 59

After filling in this code and clicking on 'Find products' you then will get a field "Grading reference / Variety name" where you can fill in the specific name of your variety. If you need a VBN product code for another general product group, please let us know.

The traders or retailers who will visit the FFP site can search on the variety name and by this they can find you as the producer of this variety.

Sticker (numbering) frequency
To guarantee the tracing system it is necessary that the products are indicated with an unique FFP-number per sales unit.
For example, you sticker your FFP product:

  • by '1:20'             meaning 1 sticker on each bunch of 20 stems
  • by '1:50'             meaning 1 sticker on each box of 50 stems
  • by '1:1'               meaning in case of big plants 1 sticker on each plant  
  • by '1:6'               meaning 1 sticker per tray of 6 little plant pots.

You are obliged to indicate this frequency on the FFP website, next to your product supply. You may decide for yourself however how high the frequency is, as long as you keep to the chosen frequency and naturally as long as it is not too high.

To do this, you first log on and go to 'My products'. There you will find the fields to fill in under 'Labeled per'.
If you haven't filled this in yet, we kindly request you to do this in the coming period.

Various stem lengths or several pot diametres?
You can also use the field "Grading reference / Variety name" if you are supplying various lengths or different pot sizes of one product code and consequently will have different sticker frequencies.

For example, you sticker your FFP product code

  • 'X' by '1:1' per tray or  
  • 6 pots and '1:9' per tray or
  • 9 little pots.

In case of flowers the content of stems in your boxes can be different per length of the same product.
