Reguirements for growers
The requirements for participating to FFP as grower
- Register with Fair Flowers Fair Plants via internet and sing the conditions for FFP-participants.
- Certification for the social requirements: International Code of Conduct (or comparable scheme satisfying the requirements of ICC).
- Certification for the environmental requirements: MPS-A (or equivalent). MPS-B is permitted with growth to MPS-A within one year.
- Specification on the website of the assortment (and volume).
- Provide the products with the FFP number, via a sticker, plant label or similar.

General requirements
- The shops recieve a Fair Flowers Fair Plants promotion package to inform consumers.
- In the shops the label is attached to the product.
- The mixing of FFP products with non-FFP products and then
selling these as FFP products is not permitted.
- Checks at the points of sale take place unannounced.
- Checks of intermediate trade take place at least once a year and also if there are doubts concerning the origin of the products at the retailer.
- Participants are listed on the Fair Flowers FAir Plants website, with the possibility of adding relevant company details.
- In cases of non-compliance with the rules, as stated in the conditions, there is a fines system that also includes exclusion from the system.
- Audits can also be carried out by recognised accredited bodies if the FFP requirements are incorporated into an FFP-approved scheme
