The conditions for participation to FFP as a retailer are:

• Register with Fair Flowers Fair Plants via Internet and accept the FFP conditions
• Purchase numbered FFP consumer labels with which the products to sell are recognisable in the shop
• The numbered consumer labels are linked to the point of sale
• Attach the FFP consumer label to the Fair Flowers Fair Plants product (each bunch/plant). This is the official guarantee to the consumer!
• Active use of the promotion material in the shop
• With regard to the products sold as FFP products, able to demonstrate from which FFP supplier they were purchased
• Participating retailers must cooperate with checks

Costs per year (January 1, 2011)

€ 55,- per shop/branche

General requirements

• The shops receive a Fair Flowers Fair Plants promotion package to inform consumers
• In the shops the FFP label is attached to the product as guarantee for the consumer
• Mixing FFP products with non-FFP products and then selling these as FFP products is not permitted
• Checks on meeting the requirements are held without prior notice and with the assistance of mystery guests or independent organizations
• Participants are listed on the Fair Flowers Fair Plants website, with the possibility of adding relevant company details
• In cases of non-compliance with the rules, as stated in the conditions, there is a fine system that can eventually also include exclusion from the system
